EyeGlass Cases

$68.00

Hand felted merino wool cases to hold your ever wandering eyeglasses. Each case is one-of-a-kind, some with hand-dyed silks and wool, or eco-dyed with plants such as eucalyptus, casuarina, rose, oak and bramble leaves. Each case size varies a bit. Mine tuck into my bag or sit on a side table, keeping the glasses, bag and hard surfaces safe from scratching. Soft yet firm to the touch, when empty can be flattened, 1/4 to 3/8 inch thick. Can accommodate a range of glasses from small, medium and some oversized frames with 6-inch stems folded in tip to tip.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Refund Policy: Due to the nature of handmade and one-of-a-kind items, I do not accept returns. All sales are considered final. Please contact me if there are any questions or concerns.

Shipping: At this time, I only accept orders shipped within the United States.

Durability & Cleaning: The felt is very dense and sturdy. The wool resists soiling. Since it is made with a water, soap, and agitation method, if staining occurs, hand wash felt in room temperature water with a small amount of mild soap. Very gently submerge in the water without wringing. Rinse well. Blot to dry between dry towels. Let it finish drying flat or stuffed to maintain its shape. Hot water and agitation may cause shrinkage. Flat items can be pressed with a steam iron on a low temperature or steamed to block and pulled into shape. For 3-D objects, stuff the item before washing and restuff to dry to maintain shape. To release dust: a gentle shake is sufficient.
